Nancy Campbell will be a positive addition to the Lake Havasu City Council. She and her family have been instrumental in giving back to this community as a business owner and volunteer. She has been involved in many organizations including fighting for music and art programs in local schools. Nancy married Chip in 1985 where they both became very active in raising a family. They are truly honored to have raised their children in Lake Havasu City. Nancy’s roots run deep, from her grandchildren attending the same elementary school which her children and husband attended, to graduating from Lake Havasu High School.
Nancy small town living didn't stop her from traveling to big cities & working with large corporations. In 1991 Nancy established J’s Smoke Shop & Specialty Wine Store. This store challenged her and drove her to becoming a successful businesswoman. Nancy designed & branded the only cigar in the industry recommended for dry heat. She became active in a political committee with great success, where she fought for the rights of the people and businesses. Tobacco politics kept her on her toes for twenty-five years where she witnessed corruption and greed at its highest levels but continued to fight for the rights of her customers. She marketed for the Arizona wine industries, Torano Cigars Company & Wilson Creek Vineyards. Nancy was very active in round-table discussions with international businessmen and woman. When building her cigar bar on main street she designed a beautiful lounge, which was featured in top magazine around the country, a bar Lake Havasu City would be proud of. This bar is still a top tourist spot for many locals and visitors alike.
Why is Nancy running for city council?
Nancy is running for city council for her grandchildren and yours. She believes between her & husband, Chip Campbell President of Campbell Redi Mix, Pioneer Earth Movers, & Window Rock Development, their knowledge in construction, planning & zoning, roads, design, hospitality, event planning, branding and investments could be beneficial for Lake Havasu City.
Nancy understands small town living and the essentials for proper growth demands. From clean water, employment, good healthcare, safe streets, congestion, housing and lack thereof, keeping our parks clean and safe and encouraging business owners to thrive. She believes in freedom of Choice, the disadvantages of big government, the problems and costs of over regulating, and unfairness of unethical taxation without representation. Nancy comes with a large moral code and fights for what she believes in. Her dream for Lake Havasu City is to grow into a town our children will be able to thrive in as adults. She wants them to be able to raise their children as we were raised; with lake living and opportunities, including colleges and trade schools. Where we come together as a community and support one another as we have in the past. By voting for Nancy Campbell its a vote for consistency where she will represent you and your family.
